What is the first thing which comes to your mind when you hear the word T-shirt? A button less, pocket less and collarless shirt usually made of cotton or polyester fibers or a mix of the two with a round neck and short sleeves which is pulled on over the head and covers most part of your torso. There are many theories on how originally T-shirt got its name. Some say that it was due to its "T" shape while others emphasize its use by the army as a "training shirt" later shortened to T-shirt and then there are some reflecting on the possibility that the name "tee" comes from amputee, a reference to the shortened length of the arms distinguishable in T-shirt design.
